Our optimized recipe allows us to reach completely new areas of friction values, resulting in absolutely quiet operation and extremely low friction. A hot wax chain lasts 800-1000km before it needs to be waxed again.

Hot wax chains offer the lowest possible friction. We recommend using hot wax chains in racing and otherwise using our drip wax. The ideal solution is to hot wax the chain and then apply a thin layer of graphene liquid wax.

Zugegeben, die Vorbereitung sowie das Wachsen sind etwas aufwendiger als das Auftragen von Öl. Folgt man allerdings den Anweisungen genau, darf man sich auch über ein überzeugendes Ergebnis freuen.
Das Entfetten meiner bereits im Einsatz befindlichen Kette habe ich in vier Durchgängen mit Nitroverdünner durchgeführt. Kette in ein Glas mit Nitroverdünner, Deckel drauf und ins Ultraschallbad. Ich bin überzeugt, dass Ultraschallbad ist reiner Luxus, es geht auch ohne. Im letzten Durchgang blieb die Flüssigkeit völlig klar. Kette gespült und gut getrocknet. Dann ins Wachs und auf Temperatur gebracht, dabei die Kette gelegentlich bewegt, um auch die letzten Luftblasen zu entfernen. Abkühlen lassen und bei vorgegebener Temperatur entnommen. Temperatur ständig mittels Thermometer überprüft. Wachs aushärten lassen und am Folgetag montiert.
Nach ca. 650 gefahrenen Kilometern kam der intensivere Test für die Kette. Lüttich-Bastogne-Lüttich Challenge mit viel Feuchtigkeit, Pfützen, Regen und aufgewirbeltem Straßendreck. Die Kette lief wie ne "1".
Danach mit einem Wasserstrahl abgespült und mit Microfasertuch getrocknet. Kein Rost, keine Dreckrückstände (wie beim Öl typisch) und die Kette läuft immer noch geräuschlos und "rund" mittlerweile bei knapp über 1.000 km.
Ich würde sagen, Test bestanden und ganz klare Empfehlung meinerseits.
