Optimize Chain Tag – Order in Chain Waxing

The Optimize Chain Tag is the simple and clever solution to perfectly keep your waxed chains separate.
Whether you ride multiple bikes, use different chain lengths, or wax with friends – with the Chain Tag, nothing gets mixed up anymore.

What makes the Chain Tag stand out:

  • Robust & durable: 1 mm thick, anodized aluminum plates – extremely resistant and colorfast.

  • Four colors to choose from: Black, Red, Purple, and Green – for clear differentiation of your chains.

  • Reusable: Simply note which chain has which color – done.

  • Compatible with the Optimize Chain Holder: Can be threaded on quickly and easily.

This way, you always maintain an overview and your chains remain neatly separated – no matter how many you have in use.

FAQs: Optimize Chain Tag

How do I use the Chain Tag correctly?

The Chain Tag is simply threaded onto the chain (e.g., onto the Optimize chain holder) to uniquely identify it – for instance, by bike, length, or rider.
Thanks to the four colors (black, red, purple, green), you can clearly assign your chains and easily distinguish them again after the waxing process. Robust, reusable, and ideal for anyone who has multiple chains in circulation.

Can I put the chain tag in the hot wax bath?

No.
The Chain Tag should not be placed in the hot wax bath. Please remove it before putting the chain in the wax and keep it away from the hot wax. It is for identification and organization – not for waxing with the chain.

Company History

Lubricant Solution Made in Germany

Optimize was founded in April 2022 by me, Felix, because no chain wax available on the market convinced me in terms of lubrication performance and cleanliness. Since mid-2023, I have been running Optimize full-time with great passion, now supported by a small team. Our goal is well-designed products that solve real problems and make chain waxing easier – with technical solutions that other providers don't implement.
